Mir became a temporary home for seven NASA astronauts. For each increment in some small way, the Russian Space Station reflected the person onboard from the U.S. Space Program.When requested, each astronaut provided a few items for this section that would convey a personal sense of their residency. Included with the image is a description of the items that help to "customize" the environment during their stay on Mir.
